WLIA 2024 Fall Regional Meeting Open Call for Presentations

Hello fellow land information colleagues,

The WLIA 2024 Fall Regional Meeting will be held in beautiful La Crosse, WI, October 16th– 18th at the Radisson Hotel.  Since we will be in the heart of the Driftless Area, our hope is to have a variety of presentations focused on topics and projects within the Driftless Area.  If you are involved with or are aware of something within this scope that you believe would be interesting to the Land Information Community, and/or if you are willing to present, please send your proposals and ideas to Doug Avoles (doug.avoles@sccwi.gov, 715-381-4934) within the next month. If you aren’t on the committee and you are interested in helping to plan the event, please let Doug know as well. We are also hoping that some of our colleagues in Minnesota and Iowa will be able to join us in La Crosse for this event and share with us some Land Information activities that are happening west of the “Big River”. This will be a great opportunity to share some “across the border” comradery.

Over the next couple of months, the WLIA Fall Education Committee will be developing the program for the Fall Meeting.  We hope you will consider presenting.  As the summer progresses and as the Fall Program develops, information will be sent out in WLIA News Blasts and available on the WLIA Website, www.WLIA.org.  

We hope to see you in La Crosse this fall!
