Opening Night
Get Ready to Get Social in Appleton! Wednesday evening (Feb 26th) we will open the Annual Conference with a Smashing Backyard BBQ, think "Summer Magic". The event will last from 6 - 9pm and will feature food, beverages, and entertainment. There will also be a bags/cornhole tournament. Use the link below to sign up. If you have any issues signing up using the link, please e-mail Jeremiah Erickson with your full name, intent to play, and experience level.

Later in the evening, there will be live music playing at the Gibson Music Hall at 211 W. College Avenue, a short walk, within a block of the Paper Valley Inn. The Chris Haise Band will be performing! This band just happens to feature Chris Dickerson, a member of our very own WLIA!
Register for the Map Contest
The Map Contest team is looking for those incredible map submissions once again and it’s time to decide whether that north arrow is truly necessary, refine your blend modes, and put the final polish on those maps for submission to the WLIA Annual Map Contest!
Searching for Silent Auction Donations
Looking for a way to help with the Annual Conference? The Silent Auction Planning Team has started to look for donations for the Annual Conference Silent Auction. All proceeds from the silent auction benefit the the WLIA Foundation that are used to sponsor scholarships for students pursuing degrees in geography, geospatial sciences, and GIS. It's easy to donate with the online auction site, click below to donate!
