Below are two great workshops running during the morning session on Wednesday.
Workshop #7: Parcel Fabric Office Hours, featuring Frank Conkling, Owner, Panda Consulting.
This half-day workshop will provide personalized assistance and guidance on using parcel fabric data and tools. Some common services include one-on-one consultations where participants get tailored advice and troubleshooting help for specific parcel fabric tasks, guidance on creating, editing, and maintaining parcel fabric data, hands-on training on using parcel fabric tools and functions within GIS software and sharing recommended workflows and techniques for efficient parcel fabric management. The workshop will also assist with resolving errors or issues related to parcel fabric data or processes. Overall, this workshop will provide a valuable opportunity for users to learn from experts and improve their skills in working with parcel fabric data.
Workshop #9: Experience Builder Handbook, featuring Wendy Leonard, GIS Analyst, Gewalt Hamilton Associates.
This is a comprehensive workshop centered around Esri's Experience Builder, a powerful tool enabling users to create engaging and dynamic web applications without the need for extensive coding knowledge. Experience Builder empowers GIS professionals to design and develop versatile web apps with ease, thanks to its user-friendly interface and integration with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.
By the end of this workshop, participants will possess the skills and knowledge necessary to build compelling and interactive web applications using Esri's Experience Builder, ultimately elevating their GIS projects and empowering their organizations to leverage location intelligence in new and innovative ways.
Track #7: Collaborations - WLIA loves Collaborating and in this Track we have a focus on a multi-organization collaboration in our neighbor to the west, Minnesota; as well as a software based collaboration featuring Elisabeth Geiger, GIS Analyst with Mead & Hunt.
FuzionView: 811 - Underground Data Mapping, featuring Bob Basques, Technical Director, SharedGeo
Hear how several groups in MN improved the use of geospatial technology in the underground utility community. FuzionView is not about replacing existing ticket management systems, but instead augmenting them with additional geospatial information access. Join this session to get a behind the scenes view of the FuzionView software being developed and the elements that make it tick.
Integrating Microsoft Power BI and GIS for Improved Data Visualization and Analysis.
Power BI stands for Power Business Intelligence and refers to a collection of software services, tools, and connectors that help you transform data from multiple sources into actionable insights. Elisabeth will discuss her process of trial and error, present case studies, and there will also be time for participants to share their experiences with Power BI and GIS!
