Grace White Receives The Outstanding Contribution Award

The Wisconsin Land Information Association held its 34th Annual Conference February 15-19, 2021. As part of the conference, WLIA recognized individuals and organizations for their significant achievements or service to the land information community.

Grace White of the Legislative Technology Services Bureau, received the Outstanding Contribution Award. The outstanding contribution award is given to an individual or an organization that is a WLIA member and has made a substantial contribution to WLIA activities or the Wisconsin Land Information Program (WLIP). Despite not being on the WLIA Board of Directors, Grace is frequently involved on committees and has been an invaluable member of the WLIA. 

Grace’s contributions are best noted by those whom nominated her:

WLIA’s resident graphic designer. If there is a project that requires professional design, by any committee, in any medium, of any project scale, then the go-to person is always Grace. She always tackles what is asked of her with enthusiasm and a positive spirit. Grace saves the association THOUSANDS of dollars in graphic design fees, and consistently produces professional quality products to the exact specifications requested of her. She has been a key member of the Annual Conference Program Committee for years. In addition to her graphic design work, Grace plays a large role behind the scenes for WLIA. She lends her time editing/preparing documents, as well as offering her insight and guidance.
