Introducing Ian Bohachek, a junior at UW-Madison. Ian interned at Sauk County last summer, where he learned a lot about land information and GIS from some of our own WLIA members! Ian hopes to find a job in GIS within the Madison area. His focus is on natural resources, and is interested in working in government or the private sector. Ian has volunteered with the Geography Club on campus and is a swim coach in his spare time.
A quote from his professor: “Ian is an excellent student and community member, and he is starting to develop what I expect to be a very successful career in mapping.”
