The Annual WLIA Map Contest deadlines start TODAY! Consider this your friendly reminder to get your submissions in—especially for the Youth Map Contest, now in its second year. This is a fantastic opportunity for the young mappers in your life to showcase their talents and compete for some exciting prizes!
Important Dates
Feb 19, 2025 – Deadline for Interactive Maps and Story Maps.
Feb 21, 2025 – Final day for online Map Contest submissions.
Feb 27, 2025 – Deliver non-web maps to the Map Gallery by 10 a.m. (Onsite Youth Contest submissions are also accepted.)

Age Groups

- Junior (9 and under)
- Intermediate (10-13)
- Senior (14-17)
How to Submit
Register via the Map Contest portal and bring a hard copy to the WLIA Annual Conference Registration Desk on Feb 26 (8 a.m.–4 p.m.).
Prefer digital? A high-resolution digital version is acceptable, but original hard copies are encouraged!
Awards & Recognition
Winners will be honored at WLIA’s 2025 Annual Conference and featured on the WLIA website.
Each winner will receive a Certificate of Achievement.
The top two maps (as voted by conference attendees in each age group) will receive an Amazon Gift Card!
