Hybrid GIS Days at UW-Milwaukee April 6-8
The University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee is hosting GIS Days from April 6th through 8th.
Wednesday and Thursday will feature virtual workshops and talks on a variety of topics. In-Person Friday, on the UWM campus, will have lightning talks, exhibits, student posters, tours of the American Geographical Society map collection, and a keynote by nationally-recognized GIS thought leader Eva Reid.
This year, GIS Days added an emphasis on how GIS amplifies secondary and higher education and how it leverages criminal justice resources.
New this year are short, free-form virtual birds-of-a-feather meet-ups. Share what you know, learn what you don’t, and network. You’ll vote for your favorite topics when you register.
Space is limited at GIS Days. Register now for your selection of workshops, talks, and events at uwm.edu/gisday. Check back to see what new sessions have been added.
