Karen Manske Passes Away
It is with deep regret that we must announce the passing of Karen Manske on June 28, 2022. Karen was elected to the WLIA Board in 2018 and served one term. She was vice-Chair and then Chair of the Legislative Committee and worked closely with current WLIA President Zach Nienow.

“I enjoyed serving on the WLIA board with Karen. She was my vice chair on the legislative committee before taking over as chair in 2019. We worked together on updating our legislative one-pagers and setting our legislative priorities. She was a great resource to WLIA bringing her register of deeds perspective to the board. Karen was wonderful person and she will be missed.”, says Nienow.
Karen was elected as the Columbia County Register of Deeds for Columbia County in 2014 after serving as Deputy Register of Deeds for over a decade.
Memorials may be made to the CVMA Chapter 45-1.
